Auli Adventure and Skiing Institute was formed with the sole aim of exposing young men, women and children to the thrills of skiing and trekking. The Institute is ownned and maaged by Auli D Group.

We have experienced team of Skiing instructors and Treck leaders with our own permanent trekking and operations based at Auli (Joshimath, Uttaranchal).

We cater to Skiing/Trekking opportunities for both beginners and advanced skiiers/trekkers.

The courses are customised to suit individual/group requirements.

The institute also provides outbound training programmes for company executives and professionals.

We also undertake educational tours to places in and around Joshimath (Valley of Flower, Badrinath, Shankaracharya Matt, Hot Springs in Joshimath)

Route from Delhi : NH58 to Joshimath via Rishikesh, Deoprayag, Srinigar, Rudryaprayag and Chamoli
Candidates will be received by our local office near Hotel Kamat at Joshimath.


Risks/Insurance
The Institute tries the best to avoid any kind of accidents during the training sessions. However, in case any mishap/injuries happened to the candidates, the institutue can not be held responsible for the same.

Minors should bring in a certificate from Parents/Guardians, stating that they have received permission for the course and will not hold the institute responsible for any accidents.

Candidates are also advised to insure themselves against any accident before joining the ski/trek course.

Auli is situated in Joshmath district of Uttaranchal State of India bordering the Himalayas, the world's highest mountain chain and also the youngest, believed to be the home of Gods. The sages have always come to the Himalayas to attain bliss, meditate and experience divinity.

People come from around the world to see the Panoramic view of Himalayas with the snow capped slopes that are ideal for skiing. Auli in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttaranchal offers exciting skiing opportunities to both beginner as well as the advanced skiers. Snow capped slopes of Auli specially 3 Km. Long slope (2519 - 3049 Mtr.) Flanked by tall stately Deodar forest cut the wind velocity to the minimum off just 16 Kms from joshimath on the Badrinath route.

Auli offers a 180 Panoramic view of Himalayan Peaks like the Nanda Devi (7817 Mt.) Kamet (7756 Mt.) Mana Parvat (7273 Mt.) and Dronagiri (7066 Mt.) Auli has been easily adapted for family with children too young to try the skill of skiing. They can enjoy the cable car ride and rope lifts. It is a spectacular sight to see the sun rising over the high snow peaks quite early in the morning Auli is surrounded by places of pilgrim like Badrinath, Joshmath, Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.

Auli/Joshimath is the base camp for trekking expeditions to Kuari Pass, Nanda Devi and Kamet.

Also it is the home of the great sage Adi Sankaracharya who is believed to have gained enlightenment here under the Amarkalp tree which is believed to be 2500 years old. It is also the winter home of Shri Bhadrinathji. This temple is situated on the slopes above the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauli ganga. Joshimath is also known for for the Shankaracharya Math and the hot springs of Tapovan.

 

Course Details

For those who want to learn skiing, Auli Adventure and Skiing Institute offers 7 day non certificate courses for basic and advanced skiing courses from January to March, every year. However, one can also opt for per day charges if one does not want to enrol in the course.

Mode of Registration and Payment
Candidates wishing to book for any of the courses will have to fill-up the online application form and send advance (50% of the total course fee) payment to the Director, Auli Adventure and Skiing Institute, Auli D, Upper Bazar, Joshimath, Uttaranchal 246443. Payment has to be made by Demand Draft favouring "Auli Adventure and Skiing Institute" payable at Joshimath.

Cancellation of booking is allowed till 7 days prior to start date. Full refund will be made after deducting only handling/bank charges as applicable.

 

NOTE:

Fees includes, boarding (buffet meals), lodging, ski equipment and training.

However, one day course fee does not include boarding and lodging
